Mom's Kitchen Table Books
Mom's Kitchen Table Books was inspired by memories of my own mom Barbara, sitting at the kitchen table in the morning, making her notes for the day or figuring out household bills in her notebook. And in the evenings after dinner, her sitting at the table in a moment of peace reading a book or doing a crossword puzzle. My siblings and I would usually be nearby with our own coloring books or sketchpads doing our best not to disturb her, until it was time to show off our works of art of course.
As an adult now, I often find myself sitting at my own kitchen table, and I smile as I go back to those memories of my mom. Inspired by her, we have created a collection of notebooks, journals, crossword puzzle books, and sketchpads. My hope is that they find their way to other people who enjoy them at their own kitchen tables or wherever they find a moment of peace.
